Now accepting No-Fault Car Accident insurance to cover your massage therapy treatments following a car accident, or a car/bicycle, car/pedestrian accident. I will be accepting two or three select Private Health Insurance Company's plans for massage soon. More details in the FAQ.

For those who are interested, I love sharing the many tips and techniques of self-care we can all do to get out of pain, as others have shared with me. The right massage, plus the right exercises and stretching, can give us almost miraculous results in getting out of pain.

I prefer strong, deep-tissue bodywork, and he can absolutely deliver. I wish I could afford seeing him regularly just for maintenance, but he is always my go-to if my body is complaining with overuse, or if I’ve injured myself.   • Sept. 2023: I've been to many LMTs in the past 20 years due to chronic back issues, and Peter is in a league of his own. He can sustain high pressure throughout a 90 min massage, but also can do a gentler massage to suit each client's needs. He's a great communicator and creates a safe, relaxing environment. The location is convenient for parking (usually lot space is available and street parking is manageable). Highly recommend for anyone looking for a therapeutic and relaxing massage!

  • BEST. MASSAGE. EVER. I just returned from having a massage by Peter Black whose “listening hands” could not have found and treated my problem areas more expertly and effectively. As someone who gets massages on a fairly regular basis, I don’t often write reviews. Most massages are pleasant enough, but few compel me to recommend the therapist to others. However, Peter stands out. He is absolutely fantastic. He used to work at the Four Seasons Resort, an environment from which he adopted a multitude of luxurious spa touches, such as rubbing your hands and feet with a warm, damp cloth prior to the massage (feels so nice…) (more…)

  • I just received an hour and a half of Thai massage from Peter and he was absolutely wonderful! His nurturing touch, combined with his ability to listen to what my body needed made the experience delightful and invigorating.
